Meet the 13 year-old Eltham school boy who has won multiple medals, including gold, at the British Freeski Championship.
Sam Gaskin, from Stones Cross Road, Crockenhill, is now the Under-16 British half-pipe champion after a remarkable performance at the event in Tignes, France.
Along with his gold medal in the under-16s half-pipe, Sam won bronze in both the under-16s slope style and ski cross events.
Eltham College pupil Sam also took home a bronze medal in the men’s half-pipe final and reached the men’s final in slope style, finishing 7th.
GB head coach Pat Sharples said: "Sam is probably one of the best all round skiers for his age in this country as he is able to mix his racing skills with his freestyle and is definitely one to watch for the future"
Proud mum Allyson Gaskin, 48, said: "He has his sights set on being selected for the Youth Olympics which will take place in Norway in 2016."
Sam is looking for sponsors. If you can help visit samski247.com
