EALING-based charity Kids’ Cookery School will be dishing up even more exciting creations after receiving a £10,000 donation from water filter experts BRITA.
The donation will enable the school to equip its mobile kitchen van, KCS on Wheels, with a year’s worth of ingredients.
The Kids’ Cookery School, which has been running for 14 years, teaches disadvantaged children.
Founder Fiona Hamilton-Fairley said: “The school responds to the gap left when cooking fell off the school curriculum, which left kids lacking vital food knowledge.
“We’re thrilled with this donation from BRITA as it means we have enough to buy healthy ingredients to take KCS on the road and educate children and young people.”
