A new may queen is to be crowned in Woodmansterne on a fun-packed day.
Pop along to the Woodmansterne Village May Queen Fete where there will be bouncy castles, face-painting, tombola, refreshments, a raffle, rides and more to keep families entertained.
The procession leaves the Readens at 1.50pm on May 5 and will travel along Chipstead Way, arriving on the village green at about 2.15pm. The Nostalgia Steel Band will be leading the procession up the hill to the green to give the event a carnival feel.
This year’s May Queen, Caitlin Harwood, will be crowned by Reigate and Banstead’s mayor Councillor Dr Lynne Hack.
The fete will raise money for the Little Princess Trust, the Royal Marsden hospital and Manor Mead School in Shepperton.
