A man hit by a lorry in Twickenham died 10 months later because of complications to his injuries, an inquest has concluded.

Mukesh Pamar died aged 58 at Kingston Hospital on October 23, 2011, after the collision in Nelson Road on December 21, 2010.

The injuries left the camera technician permanently hospitalised at the Royal Hospital of Neuro-disability in Putney before being transferred to Kingston in October 2011.

Assistant coroner at West London Coroner’s Court Dr Sean Cummings concluded Mr Parmar never recovered from his injuries.

The medical cause of death recorded in the narrative verdict was aspiration pneumonia, hypoxic brain injury, myocardial infarction, rib fracture and soft tissue injuries.
