A 36-year-old has been charged with murder after a man was killed in Mortlake.

Nicholas Hunter, of Rodenhurst Road, Clapham, will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court tomorrow, April 24.

Police were called to The Tapestry in Lower Richmond Road on Tuesday evening, April 22, to reports of a stabbing.

A 49-year-old man was taken to St George’s Hospital with abdominal wounds but died at 2.20am the next day.
