British Transport Police (BTP) has released images of two men they would like to speak to after ticket machines at Hersham station were tampered with on numerous occasions.

Officers have been called to the station nine times following reports the tickets machines had been interfered with.

Each time the culprits managed to block the change slot so customers could not get their money back and officers believe they planned to return to the machine to collect all the change.

BTP detectives released CCTV from the station and would like to identify and speak to the two men pictured in connection with their investigation.

Detective Constable Tony Bronger said: “As a result of our investigations we have managed to isolate the CCTV images of two men we want to speak to about the incidents at Hersham.

“I am convinced the man captured on camera has key information about the ticket machines and ask anyone who recognises him to get in touch.”

If you recognise the man, or have information about the incidents, please call BTP on 0800 405040 or to remain anonymous, Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111, quoting reference SSUB/B13 of 16/4/14.
