A Cobham teacher has released his first non-fiction book after being persuaded to write it by his pupils.
Adam Powell, who teaches history at ACS Cobham, published History’s Worst: 2,000 Years of Idiocy, which is now available for Kindle.
Students persuaded Mr Powell to write his first book after he used some of history’s most idiotic anecdotes in his lessons.
He said: “I’ve always collected interesting stories for my history classes, some amusing, some striking, hopefully drawing people into my subject.
“The book aims to appeal to all readers, not just history buffs, as it’s full of funny and compelling anecdotes which I hope people will enjoy.”
It has been published as an e-book and is available to download through Amazon’s Kindle app on computer and tablet at amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000425503&ref=kcp_ipad_mkt_lnd.
