New trees have been planted in Hendon as part of the Mayor of London’s Street Tree initiative.
Boris Johnson has pledged to plant 10,000 trees in the capital’s streets by March next year.
The MP for Hendon Matthew Offord has welcomed the leafy additions to Brent Street.
He said: “I’m pleased that the London Mayor’s initiative has started to bring a bit of green to Brent Street. It’s not only good for the environment but the people who live and work in the area.
"It certainly brightens it up and can only promote a bit more pride in the area.”
