Two cyclists who have raised more than £40,000 for a cancer charity embarked on a 900-mile ride to Spain.
Dean Beckett, 36, and Martin Wells, 37, began their nine-day journey on Saturday in support of Macmillan.
The Ronnie Remembrance Ride was dreamed up in memory of Mr Beckett’s father, who died last November.
Family members and supporters sent the pair on their way at a party hosted by Giardina Butchers in Walton.
They had trained hard for the ride, including taking on the Olympic route at Box Hill.
