Running in memory of her brother, an Enfield woman admitted she is more emotional today following her London Marathon run.

Lynda Priddle, of Kenilworth Road in Enfield, ran the marathon in four hours 31 minutes in memory of her brother, Stuart Rainbow who died of a brain tumour in December 2013.

Mrs Priddle revealed that the whole day had been emotional and was delighted to have raised thousands for the National Brain Appeal.

She said: “I think I am more emotional today after visiting the cemetery to show my brother my medal. I have managed to raise £6,100 and I would like to thank everyone that has donated.

“It was tough at the start but I was there for a reason and I made sure I finished the race. It was a lovely day and I was supported by all my family and I did this for Stuart’s family.”
