Two grants of up to £40,000 have been made available for voluntary organisations that support unpaid carers in the borough.
NHS Harrow Clinical Commissioning Group is offering the one-off grants to voluntary and community organisations supporting carers in Harrow.
The groups' chairman Amol Kelshiker said: “Harrow CCG has been working with carers to identify and provide more personalised support for their work.
“We want carers to have better support in their vital role by ensuring their health needs are met, respite is provided and short breaks are on offer.
“The carers’ grants offer a great opportunity for charities and the voluntary sector to put their ideas to help carers into practice.”
