Charities and social enterprises in Walton have a new opportunity to work together and benefit from affordable facilities with the opening of Charity House.

Walton Charity has taken a two-year lease on the Churchfield Road premises, which will accommodate a number of organisations such as the RC Sheriff Trust, in a venture designed to encourage cooperation across the charities and social enterprises.

Ed Baker, from the Training and Development Partnership, believes the venture will be hugely advantageous to the organisations involved.

He said: “Mutual benefits are multiplied when charities are able to closely cooperate and exchange services.”
