Two men who stabbed and chased a New Addington teen and left him to die in an Ilford car park have failed in their legal bid to clear their names.

Dale Williams and Hugo Nwanko were both jailed for life at the Old Bailey in December 2012 for the murder of 17-year-old Kelvin Chibueze.

This morning they appeared before judges at the Court of Appeal to try and get the guilty verdicts quashed.

But the judges dismissed their appeal.

Kelvin was fatally stabbed after a fight broke out during a private party at the Arteflex Club in Ilford in the early hours of August 15, 2011.

The teenager, who lived in Underwood, collapsed in a car park just off Ilford High Street.

Williams, aged 21, from Dagenham, and 18-year-old Nwanko, from Barking, were found guilty of his murder following a trial.

Also found guilty of murder at the same court were Lerone Boye, aged 26, and Roger Damali, aged 31, both from Beckton.
