A man accused of rape, sexual assault and cocaine possession is due in court today.
Anthony Vernon Williams, 51, of Mersey Road in Walthamstow, is charged with raping and sexually assaulting a woman on March 23 last year.
On the same day, it is alleged he was carrying 119 milligrams of cocaine.
He also faces a charge of driving in Coleridge Road, Walthamstow, while disqualified and without third party insurance.
He is due to appear in Thames Magistrates’ Court later today.
