New scultpures have been put on display at a historical landmark in Waltham Forest.
The family of hand-carved fallow deer on display at Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge in Rangers Road, Chingford were created by artist Denius Parsons.
Mr Parsons, a chainsaw wood carver created the three sculptures - a buck, doe and fawn - to show visitors the history of Epping Forest as a royal hunting ground and modern day conservation.
The solid oak fixtures will remain a permanent display around the hunting lodge.
Sophie Lillington, City of London Corporation Forest Centres Officer said:
"Visitors can get an up-close look at our deer sculptures and learn about those hunting days of 500 years ago, when King Henry Vlll came with pomp and pageantry to hunt deer in the Forest.
"Today, we look after these beautiful creatures at our deer sanctuary at Theydon Bois."
