Man is wanted in connection of theft at a 99p store in Walthamstow last month

Police in Waltham Forest have released a CCTV image of a suspect wanted in connection with the theft of toothpaste.

The man pictured is suspected of stealing £40 worth of Colgate toothpase from the 99p Store in High Street, Walthamstow, on March 25 at 5:30pm.

The CCTV images has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture to identify potential criminals of unsolved crimes in the borough.

Suspect 4906213/14 is described as white, with short dark hair, of medium build, and was wearing a dark hooded jumper at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting the reference number 4905069/14, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
