Church members have created original artworks which reflect on Jesus’ journey towards crucifixion.
Fourteen images, known as Stations of the Cross, are on display in the aisles of Christ Church, Epsom Common, this Lent.
The church said: "Most of the stations are biblically based, and some are traditional, depicting the movement of Christ from being condemned to death to his being laid in the tomb.
"The artists have used a very wide variety of media in their work, including newsprint, flowers, fabric, pastels and wood.
"There is also a diversity of styles from political satire to conventional sculpture.
"The art is a unique and moving celebration of the poignancy of the subject, and the talent of the artists."
The church is open during services and between noon and 1.30pm on Good Friday.
