A woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed.

Police were called to a house in Hoe Street, Walthamstow, at just after 2pm on Saturday following reports of a man suffering from stab wounds.

London ambulance service (LAS) and London Air Ambulance (LAA) attended the scene and treated a man in his 20s.

He was taken to Whipps Cross University Hospital.

Police have confirmed a 23-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the stabbing and remains in custody at an east London police station.

The stab victim's condition is described as stable.

A video of the Air Ambulance landing at the scene was uploaded to YouTube on Saturday by Umma Farooq, a UKIP candidate for Walthamstow.

I was going to comment on why we needed to to know the footage was taken by a Ukip candidate but having watched (most) of the footage I suggest he/she sticks with politics and not seek a camera career!

Might I suggest that you put your time too better use instead of filming (badly) some body elses misfortune, lets hope you don't get elected at the election
