Waldegrave School students took part in a number of fundraising schemes, raising more than £4,000 for charity.
All of the girls in year 7 joined in with a Zumba workout before putting their heads together to form their own ideas.
Sponsored silences, car washing and cake sales were order of the day as donations for Lepra, which fights disease, poverty and prejudice among people affected by some of the world’s oldest diseases.
Pupil Holly Brown raised a total of £459.50 on her own after organising a swimathon with three friends at Teddington Pool.
She also made Oreo cupcakes and persuaded her dad to auction them off at work.
Her mother Audrey Brown commented: “We are terribly proud of the effort she made, and pleasantly shocked at how successful her idea was.
“Obviously Lepra is an outside body, but she wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for school.”
