Jesus will once more walk through the streets of Epsom before being crucified in the marketplace.

Join the procession down the high street to the place of execution during a Passion of Jesus to be staged on Good Friday.

Craig Donovan, who played the role of Jesus last Easter, say: "I’m going to be Judas this year so it’s a bit of a role reversal."

Rev Sue Curtis, chair of Churches Together in Epsom, says: "Last year we were building on a long established tradition of a Procession of Witness which culminated in an act of worship in the town centre.

"The vision was to develop this into a drama that would have a wider appeal to those in the town and would engage people more directly with the events of Jesus’ death and resurrection."

Last year more than 500 people took part in the event.

Good Friday, April 18 Meet at Dulshot Green, near Epsom Clinic, at 9.50am.

The drama, ending by 11am, will be followed with hot cross buns at Epsom Methodist Church in Ashley Avenue, Epsom.
