As a christian, I would like to know if this play is proposed to have a factual base or is a purely fictional depiction for the stage. The Guardians article is not very informative. Personally, this religeous stage play horrifies me, unless clearly defined, it can be offensive, when perhaps it's not meant to be. Help me with this?

I regret to inform you that the whole Bible is fiction. Sorry about that.

I would be interested to know from which stand point you make your personal if not short remark/belief.

Just so long as they don't make the common mistake of depicting the Mary that washed Jesus feet as the same Mary as Mary Magdalene because nowhere in the bible does it even remotely connect the two women other than the fact they were both called Mary. Unfortunately, the Council of Nicea edited the gospels to the point of ludicrousy.
