A dad faced a hair-raising challenge to help raise money for Momentum, the charity that supports children and families at Kingston Hospital.
Neil Creaser, 30, of Bedfont, had his legs waxed at the Garden Room in Kingston, in aid of the charity following daughter Taylin’s treatment for cancer and has raised more than £300.
Taylin, 1, will also take part in a sponsored toddle.
Mr Creaser said: “It was very painful. I’ve got a lot of tattoos and I would actually say the pain was worse than getting a tattoo.”
And he praised Momentum’s work at the hospital.
He added: “It has just been really nice to have somebody help us out. I just felt inspired to get some money together for them to help someone else who is going through it.”
