A driver was arrested at Cobham services on Monday evening after his car was seen being driven “erratically” on the M25.
A 32-year-old man was stopped by police and his car was searched at about 11pm on March 31, with police finding a large amount of what is believed to be cannabis.
The man was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink or drugs and possession of class B drugs with intent to supply.
Traffic officers were on a routine patrol when they received information that a silver Jaguar was being driven erratically between junctions eight and nine of the motorway.
On Tuesday afternoon, the man was in custody at Guildford police station while the investigation continued.
