Police attended the road traffic collision in Carshalton Road
A teenager hit by a lorry is in a critical condition after being airlifted to hospital.
Police were called to Carshalton Road, Mitcham at the junction with Goat Road next to Mitcham Common at 4.20pm yesterday.
Carshalton Road was closed off yesterday evening, causing traffic chaos.
Traffic officers are investigating.
She was flown to the Royal London Hospital by helicopter.
