A woman in her 70s had to wait more than two hours for an ambulance following a car crash in Enfield.
The collision happened at the Hertford Road and Ordnance Road junction in Enfield Wash at around 1.45pm, causing severe traffic delays.
The ambulance service, a single response unit, did not arrive at the incident until 4.15pm, when tit took her to Barnet General hospital in Wellhouse Lane.
Firefighters removed the person from their car following the collision but the pensioner had to wait more than two hours to be taken to a hospital
The incident has now been cleared and traffic is flowing again.
