District Line services are severely delayed after a signal failure at Earls Court.
Commuters woke to find all services were cancelled from District Line stations both north and south of the river just before 7am after the problem was discovered at Earls Court.
Just a short while ago Transport for London (TfL) informed passengers the service is once again running, but is warning people to expect severe delays while it deals with the backlog.
It is being reported the Victoria Line is suffering extreme crowding at certain stations as passengers look to find alternative modes of transport.
TfL is advising passengers tickets are being accepted on local buses, South West Trains and C2C services
