A Game of Thrones actor and his glamour model girlfriend have been reunited with pet dogs stolen in a burglary at their Mill Hill home two weeks ago.

Teacup Chihuahuas Lyla and Alaska were found by members of the public in Hale Lane, Edgware, at 11pm on Friday.

One of the dogs was in a cardboard box, while the other was found on the loose nearby, and a dog warden was able to trace the owners of the pets, which had been microchipped.

Actor Steven Cole and his partner Lori Buckby had made a heartfelt online appeal to find their beloved pets and offered a £1,000 reward for information about their whereabouts.

It is not yet known whether the members of the public who found the dogs have claimed the reward.

The dogs were taken during a raid at the couple’s home, in which a Porsche Boxster, jewellery and computer equipment was also taken between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Monday, March 17.

Police later recovered the white Porsche in Holly Park Road and a computer stolen in the raid was traced to the Wood Green area.

Witnesses saw three men, described as white and aged in their late teens to early twenties, in the area at the time.

Ms Bucky, who had set up a Facebook group and published countless tweets in her desperation to find the dogs, wrote on Twitter at the weekend: “Our hard work paid off!! Last night we finally got Lyla and Alaska back!! Thankyou to everyone whether you RT (re-tweeted) once, or 10 times.

“Everything anybody did made a difference, whether u had 1 follower, or 1 million followers! Once again, Thankyou!! Couldn't of done it without u all!”
