People are being called to give their views on parking around a underground station.

Harrow Borough Council has launched a consultation on parking around Cannons Park Underground station, in Whitchurch Lane.

The council says controls were introduced in the to ameliorate parking problems caused by local development and increased commuter parking around the station in April 2013.

As a result it says there has been a change in parking behaviour which has highlighted other areas where there are problems.

Possible options for the area include permit bays, single yellow lines and pay and display controls.

People have until April 14 to have their say about possible changes to parking in the area and can do so by clicking here.

After the consultation officers will take their findings to the council's traffic advisory and road safety panel, which will make a recommendation to the relative cabinet member.

If a decision has been agreed there will then be a statutory consultation carried out which could take place later this year.
