A Hendon student raised £3,600 for a Jewish special needs charity when she completed the Jerusalem half marathon on Friday.
Natalie Jacobs, who is spending a year in seminary in Israel, finished the race in a very respectable two hours and 23 minutes.
The 19-year-old, who was competing in her first half marathon, has donated all of her sponsorship to Hendon-based charity Kisharon, which supports people with learning disabilities.
She said: “It was amazing but my legs are very sore. Kisharon has always been a charity close to our family so I am happy to have been able to support them.”
