Police and ambulance were called to a collision between a bicycle and a car
A cyclist sustained serious leg injuries in a collision with a car.
Police were called to London Road, Mitcham at 11.15am on Saturday, March 22, to reports of a crash.
The collision occurred close to the junction with Lavender Avenue.
London Road was blocked off while police waited for the air ambulance to arrive.
The cyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to St George's Hospital, Tooting.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Nobody was arrested.
