More than a thousand worshipers joined the mayor of Harrow for a Hindu festival to celebrate the victory of good over evil.

Members of the International Siddhashram Shakti Centre (ISSC) gathered outside Harrow Borough Council Civic Centre for the celebrations.

The Mayor of Harrow enjoyed the Holi festivities, which included the throwing of coloured powder.

Gurudev Dr Rajeshji Parmar, founder and spiritual leader of International Siddhashrm Shakti Centre and guests took part in vedic rituals highlighted by the burning of an effigy of Holika and the offering of prayers.
