Police are seeking information about a man in connection with a "disgusting" attack on a bus which left a Welling woman traumatised.

News Shopper reported on February 12 how Dee Odysseos, of Central Avenue, had blood "pouring" out of her mouth after she was hit by a man on the 89 bus.

Bexley Police officers have now circulated an image of a man they would like to speak to regarding the incident and are urging people to get in touch with information.

Ms Odysseos, 40, has a permanent scar after being attacked by a man on an 89 bus while on her way to collect her son from school on December 12 last year.

The mum-of-two told News Shopper: "It is disgusting.

"I have to carry on using the bus every day and I’m always scared.

"Now I’m worried for my son - what if he goes on a bus and is attacked?

"It winds me up just talking about it. I’m traumatised."

The mum-of-two believes the violence occurred because she got on the bus in front of the man, after running for it.

She said: "I could hear the man behind me swearing at me because he thought I’d pushed in.

"Then he hit me as I was going up the stairs and split my lip.

"The guy started to turn it around on me and said, ‘why are you hitting me’ but a woman on the bus challenged him about this because they had seen what had happened and said, ‘you hit her’."

Call Bexley Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

Shocking, so many incidents are happening on buses where people get away.
Why don't the bus drivers phone the police?

There is a Wetherspoons in Bellegrove Road, but my money would be on an escapee from either the Guy Earl of Warwick, or the Plough and Harrow.

I am not going to call them Neanderthals since to associate a vigorous people who survived thousands of years in freezing conditions using only Stone Age technology with degenerate rubbish whose ambition in life is to stay unemployed & drink more lager is an insult to our extinct cousins.

Isn't this the woman that was slatted by all on here not so long ago, because parts of her story didn't 'add up! ' and because it seemed more of a case of her queue jumping? Somebody even found something relating to a post she made on face ache if memory is correct, bragging. Now she is so traumatised to go on the bus daily, she should have thought that one day, pushing in front of the queue would be overstepping the mark with somebody, has she learned a lesson by this? If so, it is highly unlikely she would get another thump is it? Sounds like she is just compo seeking still.

Yep, the same story scarf, I remember. Can't say I feel that sorry for her tbh. Give bad behaviour, get it back. People think they are just entitled to everything nowadays.
