A Gravesend man has been banned from driving for 18 months and fined £895 after attempting to drive a car drunk.
Danny Kingsnorth, 31, of Aspdin Road, pleaded guilty to attempting to drive a Peugeot 206 in Wingfield Road, Gravesend, while unfit to drive through drink.
He was sentenced on February 26 this year at Medway Magistrates’ Court.
Magistrates disqualified Kingsnorth and fined him £450 and he was also told he must pay £400 costs and a £45 victim surcharge.
Disqualification can be reduced by four months if, by 26 February 2015, he satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State, the cost of which will not exceed £250.
