Walkers in Barnes will notice the towpath has been transformed after an uplift project.

Work to the Leg o Mutton towpath and Small Profits Dock began in February and saw removal of overgrown shrubs, upgrades to the pathway and improved access around the open space.

Councillor Pamela Fleming, cabinet member for environment, said: “The improvements to these beautiful green spaces are a welcome addition to the council’s innovative uplift programme.

“The council knows the environment is a top priority for residents which is why we are investing heavily in our parks and open spaces.”
