A robber who asked an escort and two friends she was entertaining to strip before stealing their phones, a car and even a pair of trousers has been jailed.
Cameron Wylie, 28, and accomplice Russell Stowell, 34, burst into the Wallington flat and demanded money in a raid at 8.30pm on Friday, October 25.
The drunken pair, both from Wallington, subjected the woman and her male and female companions to "a nasty ordeal" before leaving in the man's car with his wallet, trousers and six mobile phones, a court heard.
The duo were caught early the next morning after the stolen car was spotted in Brixton.
They were found guilty after a two-week trial at Croydon Crown Court last Friday. Wylie, of Rectory Lane, was found guilty of two counts of robbery and was sentenced to five-and-a-half years in jail.
Stowell was found guilty of two counts of theft and received a nine month prison sentence suspended for two years.
The 37-year-old escort was with her two friends, a woman who can not be named for legal reasons and Rishi Navjee, when the pair arrived at the door.
Believing them to be more friends, the escort opened the door only to be confronted by Wylie and Stowell who were drunk and clutching a bag of beer cans and a bottle of whisky.
Wylie and Stowell refused to leave and grabbed the woman by her hair before demanding money and searching the flat.
The woman was held by the throat while her friends were pushed to the floor.
The intruders demanded the three victims take off their clothes but they refused, so Stowell and Wylie pulled off the Mr Navjee's trousers and found his car keys, wallet and phone in his pocket.
Mr Navjee was punched in the head to force him to reveal the location of his car before Wylie and Stowell left with six phones, the man's wallet and his trousers and fled in his Toyota Yaris.
The Yaris triggered a traffic camera at 3.30am the following day and police stopped Wylie in Lambert Road Brixton. In the car they found a number of mobile phones.
Detective Constable Dan Hobbs of Sutton police said: "These three victims were subjected to a nasty ordeal at the hands of these two men. We carried out a long and thorough investigation to bring these culprits before the courts."
