A 21-year-old accused of harassment in a park has been bailed ahead of a trial in July.
Dhylan Rhys Castillano, of Leyton Grange in Leyton, appeared in court on Friday charged with intent to cause alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress.
The incident is said to have occurred in Jubilee Park in Leyton on January 10.
Earlier in the hearing the prosecution withdrew a charge of outraging public decency following an allegation that on January 10 in Leyton Jubilee Park he followed a lone woman with a child making comments of a sexual nature, dropping his trousers and touching himself.
Castillano was bailed until July 25, when he will reappear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court.
He denies the offence.
