A charity providing Saturday outings for children and young people with disabilities has been given funding by Walton Charity.

Crossroads Care Surrey’s outings club gives eight teenagers a week the chance to go on trips of their choice, including bowling, to the cinema or theme parks.

The charity has run Burview Saturday Club for the past four years and gives children and young people aged five to 19 with special needs the chance to enjoy themselves.

Jackie Lodge, chief executive of Walton Charity said: “Walton Charity is delighted to be able to support the fantastic work of Crossroads Care Surrey.

“Weekend activities are important to all of us and Crossroads is doing an amazing job of supporting even more young people with disabilities to join in their Saturday club.”
