Proposals for a new teaching centre were this evening given the go-ahead by councillors.
Harrow College submitted plans earlier this year to demolish existing temporary classrooms at its Harrow-on-the-Hill campus in Lowlands Road to make way for a five and four-storey teaching block.
The plans were given unanimous approval from members of the Harrow Borough Council’s planning committee this evening.
The new building will provide enough room for up to 580 pupils and an estimated 140 members of staff.
