A hair salon is hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for charity during a special fundraiser this Friday.
Customers at Hair Discovery, in East Barnet, will be invited to buy £5 tickets to a prize draw, featuring a number of goods donated by local businesses and salon brands.
All of the money raised will be donated to Crohn’s and Colitis UK – a charity supporting people with the debilitating bowel disorders.
The salon has previously raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support but wanted to chose a different charity for this event and settled on Crohn’s and Colitis UK after discussing it with customers.
Salon owner Angelina Hill said: “We’re looking forward to it – we’re all ready to go. Hopefully we will raise over £500 – it’s always nice to raise some money for charity.”
Tickets will be on sale at the East Barnet Road salon between 9am and 10pm on Friday.
