News Shopper has received reports nine schoolgirls have been sprayed in the face with a chemical substance in the playground of a Chislehurst school.
The incident reportedly happened at Beaverwood School in Beaverwood Road at around 11am today (March 11).
It’s alleged the girls were targeted by a fellow pupil.
Robbie Nicolson, 43, is the uncle of one of the alleged victims.
He told News Shopper: "The girls were in the school playground and one girl has gone round spraying nine other girls in the face.
"When my niece's mum found out she went straight down there.
"There was skin peeling off her face. She was taken to Queen Mary's Hospital."
A police spokesman confirmed officers were called to an incdent this afternoon.
He said: "We were called to Beaverwood School in Chislehurst at approximately 1pm on Tuesday 11 March, after an allegation that a 14-year-old school girl had been sprayed in the face with an unknown substance and had required medical attention.
"Two girls - ages currently unknown - have just been arrested in connection with the incident."
The school says it is talking to police about the incident and has declined to comment further.
