College students will take part in boot camps to help boost their employment skills after graduating.
Barnet and Southgate College has partnered with InspirEngage International, to become a national “social enterprise champion”.
The scheme supports students develop the skills they need to launch their own projects to help improve their communities.
Throughout the year, students will take part in the workshops, which are supported by former BBC Apprentice contestant Melody Hossaini.
She said: "With youth unemployment figures high, resources scarce in communities and the need for students to develop their life skills, it's more important than ever to think innovatively about solutions.
“We support students to develop their skills through intense InspirEngage Bootcamps to launch their own socially enterprising projects to help their communities.”
