Flooding experts are coming to Leatherhead on Friday to help flood victims struggling to get back on their feet.

The team will be on board the National Flood Forum’s trailer at Leatherhead Leisure Centre, off Guildford Road, between 10am and 7pm.

Councillor Chris Townsend, leader of Mole Valley District Council, said: "I know it will be of great assistance in helping those residents who have been affected by flooding access the information and advice that they need.

"Experienced staff will be on hand to provide information and support to help residents recover their lives following flooding.

"They can advise on a wide range of issues such as ongoing insurance claims, advising the uninsured, advice on restoring properties and they offer independent advice on flood protection products.

"If you have been affected by flooding, or know someone who has, please come along."
