Pupils at St Andrew’s Primary School enjoyed all things story related as part of world book week.
The Cobham school welcomed storyteller Kevin Graal from talking tales last week for two days of exciting performances and workshops.
Mr Graal entertained children and staff with a wealth of stories from traditional folk tales to myths and legends and following his visit, children enjoyed a day dressed as their favourite book characters.
The school organised the event as a result of a grant from the RC Sherriff Trust.
Maggie Hayward, English co-ordinator at St Andrew’s Primary School, said: “We are very grateful to the trust. It is this kind of event which absorbs the children and remains in their memories.”
