Nearly 200 children from 12 primary schools across the borough danced their hearts out.
The budding primary school dancers got together to show off their talents on stage for Dramatic Edge, a programme that aims to nurture confidence and communication through dance and drama.
The pupils showcased their choreography and dancing skills for the competition, held at Hampton Academy, on Friday, February 28.
Chase Bridge Juniors went home with a trophy after winning the overall competition and their infants followed in their footsteps to win best audience awareness.
Other winners included Hampton Juniors, best choreography, St Mary’s and St Peter’s, most original piece, and Archdeacon Cambridge, with best storytelling.
A secondary school drama showcase will be held at Hampton Hill Play House on Tuesday, March 18.
Dramatic Edge is a Richmond Council initiative launched in 2004 to raise the standard of drama and dance across schools in the borough.
