Seven people have been arrested in connection with the murders of two men in Leytonstone.

Following their arrests a 21-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of murder and a 46-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

This afternoon another man was arrested in connection with the investigation.

All seven people remain in custody at an east London police station.

Post-mortem examinations showed the cause of death for Mr Carriere, 21, to be stab wounds to the neck, while Mr Manful, 20, died from shock, haemorrhaging and stab wounds to the chest.

The men were found at around 1am on Saturday in a vehicle suffering injuries and later pronounced dead at the scene.
