Six teenagers have been arrested after a brawl in Walton last month.

The incident happened in the High Street during half term at about 9.30pm on Tuesday, February 18.

Three 16-year-olds, two 15-year-olds and a 14-year-olds, all boys from Walton, Hersham and West Molesey, were arrested and have been released on bail until dates in April.

Sergeant Catherine Hearn, from Elmbridge safer neighbourhood team, said: “Six teenagers have already been arrested in connection with the incident which is still ongoing.

“In the past few weeks there have been several incidents involving young people and antisocial behaviour and disorder in the Walton and West Molesey areas and the safer neighbourhood teams have stepped up patrols in the area. But we are urging anyone who was in the area on the evening of Tuesday, February 18, and may have seen the fighting take place to come forward.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who may have information relating to the activities surrounding the incident to get in touch.

“Officers are currently working with the young people and reaffirming the message that antisocial behaviour and acts of violence will not be tolerated by Surrey Police and appropriate action will be taken.”
