On 3 February 2014, you ran a story mentioning the Floodline phone number had changed to 0345 988 1188 which is a cheaper call for almost everyone.

Over the following weeks you have reverted to quoting the old 0845 number again.

Continue to call the 0845 number only if you are on "BT Weekend" or "BT Evening and Weekend" (or a landline provider that copies those BT prices) and you are making a call during a weekday and you therefore have to pay for it, or you are on "Vodafone pay as you go".

Almost everyone else should call the brand new 0345 number and this applies whether using a landline or a mobile.

All callers with an inclusive call plan on their landline or mobile will find that calls to 0345 numbers are inclusive within their calls allowance.

Mobile users on pay as you go pay less for 0345 calls than for 0845 calls (except for those on Vodafone, which charges 0845 calls at a discounted rate).
