Junior filmmakers developed their movie production skills when they swapped the classroom for the director’s chair during February half term.
A group of eight to 10-year-olds learned how to script, shoot, act and edit their own film when they took part in the Barnes Film Academy (BFA) course, headed by the Harrodian School’s head of media Sam Cullis.
He said: “I was really surprised that such a young group of students already had so much film knowledge.
“Their enthusiasm and ability to tell a story through film meant that they had a lot of control over the construction of their film, The Glass Queen.
“Barnes Juniors tries to give children a start on their journey into the world of film and what was especially pleasing was watching older students passing down skills learned at previous BFA courses.”
An Easter workshop will take place during the school break from April 7 to 11.
