Fred Wigg Tower was one of the venues during the Olympics that was in the news as they placed missile launch pads on the roof an attracted media attention and now the area is in the news again because of the in depth long standing problems in the area namely knife crime and likely drugs that has ravaged the area despite recent investment. The police must be held accountable for closing the police station and leaving that area like a void to the hoodlums who run the show. The area has gone up to different levels since the Olympics with bars and cafe culture only to be ruined by crooks. The Singburi and Red Lions are venues that people travel to from miles away and the Parieateria Coffee Shop by the station is the place to be seen in the summer. Why are the community now held to ransom by murderous thugs who patol the street in stead of the constabulary?
