Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 15-year-old school girl.

Nicole Kenway was last seen in the South Street area of Dorking Town at around 15.50pm Friday, February 28, but has not made contact with friends or family since.

Since Nicole was reported missing a number of enquiries have been made in the area and it is now believed Nicole may be in the central London area.

Surrey Police officers are liaising with the Metropolitan Police Service as part of the investigation.

A Surrey Police spokesperson said although Nicole’s disappearance is out of character there is nothing to suggest that she has come to any harm and officers would appeal to Nicole to make contact with them or a family member or friend.

PC Steve Gillick, said: "We are working on a number of enquiries which we are hopeful will help us locate Nicole and I would urge anyone who is able to assist us with our investigation to contact police as a priority.

"I would like to reassure Nicole that she is not in any trouble, we just want to ensure her safe return."

Anyone who can help officers locate Nicole, from Dorking, is asked to contact Surrey Police on 101 or the charity Missing people on 116 000.

All information will be treated in confidence.
